AVG9.0 FREE EDITION FAILED
Do you have problem with blue screen error when you start a pc or you computer suddenly does not respond or even clashes with Mozilla Firefox. All of it due to AVG newest version 9.0. It's been weeks in finding ways to fix my old pc(OS: Windows XP), Acer Travelmate 6292(OS: Windows Vista Business) and Compaq AMD Turion(OS: Windows XP). Finally everything sorted out fine.
At first I thought it is because of Windows Update Security which was not stable. Why I suspected Windows because I had just update Windows for both Vista and XP and this problem start to exist. I didn't thought of AVG which I had upgrade from 8.5 to 9.0.

Blinking During Start up Windows
The screen will become black which shows the failure in starting up Windows after a few minutes. I even suspected the cause of Display Adapter Driver. I had done a lot of uninstalling and installing the driver but it did not worked well. Do you expect anyone to use this pc to uninstall the driver in safe mode first before starting Windows to avoid the Blue Screen Error? So I tried to uninstall AVG and start the pc. It worked well. The following day, I try to start up again. So I am 100% sure it is AVG 9.0 which was not compatible with my pc.
There are many free antivirus such as avast, bitdefender , Microsoft Security Essentials, panda cloud and avira to name a few. I choose avira in random as I had the installer which I had download earlier.
