T A K E A B R E A K
Take a break is a common enough phrase. But do you know there are various forms of it?
First, there is the five minutes break. It’s usually five minutes. Next, a short break could be between 5-10 minutes. A lengthier break is probably the recess a.k.a. a break. 20 minutes for it, maybe? Enough for everyone to take a leak and eat something but not dawdling, ok? A tea break is the one break where you can both take a leak and eat and dawdle (take your time). It can be up to half an hour. Of course, there is also the half hour break which is what its name suggests. And anything that exceeds half an hour is no longer a break but probably a meal.
* A break is a time for everyone to do what he or she need to attend to privately without interrupting anything important that is going on. If anyone takes more than the allocated time, he or she is taking his or her own sweet time.
