'Pertandingan Mencipta Logo Pelancongan Taiping'

1. Penyertaan adalah terbuka kepada warganegara Malaysia sahaja. Pemenang utama akan menerima hadiah wang tunai sebanyak RM2000.00 beserta sijil penghargaan. Lima (5) pemenang saguhati akan menerima RM200.00 beserta sijil setiap seorang.
2. Semua AJK, ahli panel pemilihan serta saudara mara terdekat tidak layak untuk menyertai pertandingan ini.
3. Semua hasil ciptaan logo hendaklah asli, tidak boleh melanggar mana - mana hak cipta terpelihara. MPT tidak akan bertanggungjawab terhadap perkara ini dan berhak
menuntut semula bayaran hadiah yang dimenangi oleh peserta.
4. Perkataan dan juga hendaklah dimasukkan di dalam logo. Logo mestilah
mempunyai identiti Taiping Bandar Warisan. 'From Taiping 5. With Love' 'Malaysia'
Semua rekaan tidak akan dikembalikan dan akan menjadi hak milik MPT. Rekaan boleh digunakan secara terus atau diubah suai mengikut budi bicara pihak MPT tanpa syarat.
6. Rekacipta boleh dihasilkan sama ada secara 'free hand' atau menggunakan grafik komputer (digalakkan).
7. Saiz logo dalam bentuk lukisan ialah 200mm X 200mm berlatar belakang warna putih dan dilekatkan di atas 'mounting board' warna hitam berukuran 250mm X250mm.
8. Salinan digital (softcopy) hendaklah dimuatkan dalam cakera padat (CD), saiz minima 800 X 800 piksel dalam format JPEG serta format GIF (animasi jika ada).
9. Setiap rekacipta logo wajib disertakan huraian makna (definisi) dalam Bahasa Malaysia bagi setiap simbol serta warna yang digunakan tidak melebihi 300 perkataan.
10. Penyertaan adalah percuma. Peserta boleh menghantar seberapa banyak penyertaan, tetapi hanya layak menerima satu hadiah sahaja.
11. Setiap penyertaan perlu dinyatakan Nama, Nombor Kad Pengenalan, Alamat Surat Menyurat, Nombor Telefon dan E-Mail (jika ada).
12. MPT tidak akan bertanggungjawab di atas sebarang kehilangan, kerosakkan atau apa - apa kos bahan lukisan yang dihantar peserta.
13. Bukti pengiriman pos tidak boleh dianggap sebagai bukti penerimaan.
14. Keputusan pertandingan akan diumumkan melalui laman web Majlis Perbandaran Taiping di URL http://www.mptaiping.gov.my
15. Semua penyertaan hendaklah dihantar ke alamat seperti berikut:

Please choose either one. Looks alike and price the same. Both are imported. Basically is the same. Just a little bit different here and there. The grill with the front and rear bumper were locally assemble. For me, I prefer the original version. Don't you?

Larut Matang & Selama district police HQ

Need for more police patrol cars to increase patrolling rounds in Taiping. Patrols Car in Taiping was insufficient. Please allocate officers to stand by on weekdays at Jalan Stesen route behind Taiping General Hospital up to SMK King Edward primary school to watch the pedestrian crossing and to ease traffic flow from 6.30am to 7.30 am, 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm and 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Also keep watch SJK(C) Hua Lian 1 & 2 traffic flow. Thanks a lot.

Taiping will be a place for foreigners to stay to do their sun-tan. Humid atmosphere throughout the night. Stop open burning! Taiping Municipal Council doesn't really do their work well. Open burning without action taken, drains or river polluted, 'kedai makan' with chairs and tables on the road and also an illegal booth or stall. The policemen not working hard enough. Mat Rempits driving dangerously everday, motorist not wearing crash helmet, and so on. The JPJ's stay the same. Cars with big exhaust pipe, non-approved lights attached and loud surround sound, overtaking double line, crossing over red light, parking improperly, one way becoming two way, coming out from a junction without looking to name a few. Taiping is not a nice place to stay after all.

Makan Time

Remember McD 'Sundae Cone' only RM0.50 every 1st day of the month. Perhaps yesterday a bit crowded. Its Labour Day and a Public Holiday. Maybe next month will not be so crowded. However it falls during the school holiday and Sunday. I'm sure you can't find the cheapest sundae cone elsewhere.
