My Reality Bites

Set up SAMSUNG ML-2550 series printer in Windows 7(usb cable)

Step 1: Go to Start->Devices and Printers

Step 2: Click 'Add A Printer'

Step 3: In a pop up window choose 'Add a local printer'

Step 4: Choose 'Use an existing port' and click 'Next'

Step 5: If unable to find Samsung Printer Driver, do not panic. Just click 'Windows Update' and wait.

Step 6: Choose 'Samsung ML-2550 series' and not 'Samsung ML-2550 series PCL 6' because you will find difficulties in installing Wireless Printer Network later on.

Step 7: Click 'Next'.

Step 8: You can choose either to share or not sharing this printer driver and click 'Next'.

Step 9: Click 'Finish' to finish up installation.
