Do you think electric cars are the future? What about NGV, Hybrid and Hydrogen Cell? Which is more practical? The car producer is making lots of money by introducing all types of saving fuel cars. Back to the topic, Proton has done a fantastic job by producing Persona as an electric car by the end of year 2009. It is not as expensive as hybrid cars, by adding only RM 20, 000. Consider cheap lah!
Refer to TheStar.com.my: "Lam showcased two Proton production cars – a Persona and a Savvy – a Lotus Elise sports car and a Daihatsu Cuore hatchback that had been converted to run on full electric power. Giving an example, he said a 1.6-litre petrol-powered RM60,000 Proton Persona would cost around RM80,000 if turned into an electric car."
