Set up wireless Samsung ML-2550 printer in windows 7 where printer connected to Windows XP
Step 1: Go to Start->Devices and Printers

Step 2: Click 'Add A Printer'

Step 3: In a pop up window choose 'Add a local printer'

Step 4: Choose 'Use an existing port' and click 'Next'

Step 5: If unable to find Samsung Printer Driver, do not panic. Just click 'Windows Update' and wait.

Step 6: Choose 'Samsung ML-2550 series' and not 'Samsung ML-2550 series PCL 6'.

Step 7: Click 'Next'.

Step 8: Please choose 'share this printer' and click 'Next'.

Step 9: Click 'Finish' to finish up installation.

Step 10: Go to Start->Devices and Printers again. Right click on Samsung ML-2550 printer icon and choose 'printer properties'.

Step 11: Select 'Ports' Tab.

Step 12: Click 'Add Port->Local Port->New Port'.

Step 13: Enter the wireless network printer link in 'Enter Port Name'

Step 14: Click 'Apply' and 'Ok'.

Step 15: To print a brochure, click 'print preview'.

Step 16: Click 'File->Page Set Up'

Step 17: Select 'Landscape'.

Step 18: Finally try to 'print preview' again and print the brochure.

YOU ARE ROOSTER

The picture above is a rooster and not a chicken. Americans will be calling 'You are chicken' referring 'You are scared'. Malaysians should use 'You are yellow'. Anyway just enjoy the drawing of a happy rooster.

TOUCH AND GO EXCELLENT SERVICE

I was on my way to reload 'touch and go' at their counter in Kamunting. Nothing happened but only traffic jam as usual. Cut the story short, the purpose I write this blog is to praise their fast and efficient service. Just a few seconds, you are returned with the card and the receipt. Their operating time is between 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. from Mon-Sun including breaks and Public Holidays. How's that?
